Beautiful fat totem pole cactus! These are off an old mother plant so normal scratches and scars can be expected.
These lovelies are Arizona natives and love the sun! Outside in the warmer months is best! They are very slow growing so this species can be kept indoors by a window but you need to get a small fan pointed at the soil a couple times a week to prevent fungal infections. When outside, watering about every 1.5-2 weeks will be best in the dead of summer when it’s 95+ and every 2 weeks in spring and fall, then in winter they need to come inside once it gets below 35 degrees and only watered about every 6-8 weeks.
